Oxfam GB

You will join Oxfam GB at an important moment in the organisation’s history. We have recently restructured and welcomed a new Chief Executive, Danny Sriskadarajah, who is leading the development of our next 10-year strategy.
We have committed to strengthening our safeguarding policies and reforming our broader working culture, following recent coverage of past failings. And in an increasingly digital workspace, we are seeking to encourage innovative forms of staff communication. In each of these areas, positive two-way engagement with our teams in the UK and overseas is vital.
The next Head of Internal Communications will play a central and strategic role, including in the staff communications of our CEO. At a time of change, challenge and opportunity, we are looking for someone who combines a strong professional record with the personal drive to take our internal communications to another level.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for an experienced senior internal communications professional who understands the role of internal communications in delivering staff engagement, and supporting organisational priorities, plans and values. You will be an excellent influencer with strong management and leadership skills.
You will be a strategic thinker, who can develop and deliver an engaging communications strategy. You will be good at working across multiple priorities. And you will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in collaborating with staff at all levels.

We offer

This role will give you an opportunity to act as key contributor to deliver staff engagement and to work with a group of passionate people that are specialists in communications. We offer fair pay and competitive benefits package.
