About this exciting opportunity
This multi-faceted role will see our Internal Communications Manager focus on developing and delivering Nesta’s internal communications strategy, working closely with the Communications and People teams, and supporting colleagues across the organisation to plan and deliver impactful internal communications.
You will also oversee day-to-day internal communications issues and project manage a range of internal communication activities and initiatives, including staff away days, plus:
Manage the development of our internal communications channels
Deliver communications across the full channel mix, with particular focus on the intranet, social collaboration and video
Develop and deliver face-to-face and remote training on good internal communications practice
Manage overall editorial direction for the intranet
Develop and deliver operational plans to support cross organisational priorities
Work with staff across the organisation to build connections between their roles and Nesta’s purpose.
What we are looking for
You will be an outstanding communicator with strong writing skills, including the ability to adapt writing style for a range of different channels and internal audiences, and a demonstrable ability to create clear, compelling, messages, distilled down from a complex operational environment.
You must possess a proven background gained in a similar role and have experience using content management systems to manage company intranets and working with agencies to develop and maintain them, while strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities are also vital.
