The role of the Internal Communications function is to manage and build DS Smith’s internal reputation as a key player and innovator in the industry. This is driven by working proactively with the business and functions to produce fit-for purpose communications activities that engage all relevant internal stakeholders. 

As the UK Internal Communication Manager, you will develop and lead the delivery of the internal communication strategy. You will support the creation of a strong line management leadership community, helping them drive employee engagement. This will lead on to the task of improving the communication capabilities of Line managers and ensure their effectiveness in getting across the key messages to employees. 

It’s imperative in this role that you have strong communication skills, a good attitude and a real drive for relationship building across the business. Internal communications experience within a complex, global matrix organisation and evidence of exemplary stakeholder management in your career are paramount.
